The Dr. Markus Follmann INGUIDE Fellowship
Honouring a legacy. Building the future of guideline development in Germany.
The Dr. Markus Follmann INGUIDE Fellowship has been established to honour the life, work, and enduring legacy of Dr. Markus Follmann – a dedicated supporter, ambassador, and certified instructor of the INGUIDE Program in Germany.
Markus was instrumental in bringing INGUIDE to German-speaking countries. He completed the full INGUIDE curriculum, became a certified instructor, led the translation of Course 1 into German, launched and taught the first German-language cohort, and was actively planning the translation of Course 2 at the time of his passing. His vision was clear: to scale up guideline development training, strengthen national capacity, and build lasting collaboration between INGUIDE and German guideline institutions.
This fellowship carries that vision forward.
About the Fellowship
The fellowship will support one individual from a German-speaking country to complete the full INGUIDE training pathway (Courses 1 to 4). Upon completion, the fellow will serve as a local champion for INGUIDE in German-speaking countries – supporting training delivery, contributing to capacity building, and expanding access to high-quality guideline development education.
Submission Deadline: Friday June 05, 2026 ET
