Strengthening Evidence-Based Practice in Tanzania: INGUIDE Training Workshop in Morogoro

From March 3–7, 2025, the International Guideline Training and Certification Program (INGUIDE), in collaboration with the WHO Tanzania Country Office, the Ministry of Health, and with the support of WHO Headquarters, conducted a hybrid capacity-building workshop in Morogoro, Tanzania.
The training brought together 38 national stakeholders for online certification in Level 1: Certified Guideline Panel Member, and 21 participants for an in-person Level 2: Certified Guideline Methodologist workshop. Funded by WHO Tanzania, this INGUIDE-led initiative aimed to strengthen national systems for adapting, implementing, and monitoring high-quality clinical and public health guidelines.
The event marked a key step toward institutionalizing evidence-based practices within the Tanzanian health system and laid the groundwork for future collaboration and the development of national guideline quality assurance mechanisms.
